Women On Mission... The CBC WOM will meet this Friday at 6:00pm at Phyllis'.
Discipleship Classes... Two discipleship classes are meeting each Tuesday at 6:30pm. The
classes are Your Church Experiencing God Together and Witnessing Through Your
Relationships.
Food... Do you need to eat more than once a week? Will one meal a week satisfy your hunger?
What about your spiritual body? Do you feed it one meal a week, on Sunday mornings, and then
give it nothing else until the next Sunday morning? You know, a banquet is served at CBC each
Wednesday night at 6:00pm, and YOU have a special invitation to come and feast! Prayer
meetings are now worship opportunities in the middle of the week with preaching and singing as
well as praying. Come and feast at the mid-week meal. There is also a good meal served on
Sunday nights at 6:00pm. Feed your spiritual body three times a week instead of once and watch
it thrive.
Lenten Services... The community lenten services will begin Thursday, February 23 with a
service at noon at Leitchfield United Methodist Church. Father Brian will lead the service and St.
Anthony Church will serve the lunch beginning at 12:30. Everyone is invited.
CAMP JOY IS 60 YEARS OLD THIS YEAR! Please consider donating to the ministries offered there
- especially during your birthday week/month. Maybe 60 pennies, 60 dimes, 60 quarters, 60
dollars, etc. Start putting something aside so it will be ready when your birthday rolls around.
Special envelopes are available on the vestibule table. Take one and get it ready for your
birthday. Of course, you don’t have to wait, or give only for your birthday. Any time and any
amount you give is appropriate and appreciated.
